When we were selling bread and cakes on market stalls our customers told us what they liked to eat. They wanted moist cakes that tasted delicious, cut well, kept well and were keenly priced. They wanted a large range of all their favourites such as Farmhouse Fruitcake, Walnut Cream and Ginger cake. Our first cake was a very popular Cherry Madeira and this is still our best seller.

Our cakes are not only eaten at tea time, they are put in lunch boxes, used as snacks, heated and served with custard or ice cream, enjoyed with a cup of coffee or sneaked to be eaten on their own as a private treat.

We bake traditional old favourites, as well as some new ideas, extremely well. Our cakes remind our customers of how good cakes used to taste.
